Emblem placement...

First let me say that I'm glad to say that I'm glad to see the forum(s) up again. I was going through some severe "Subsim withdrawl" for a few days! Symptoms included confusion, irritability & violent diarrhea; everybody stay out of the hall closet until I say that it's okay.

On to my question. Is it possible to modify where the emblems are placed on the conning tower or is that hard-coded? The emblems are placed by default on the tower sides & I was wondering if it was possible to put them in historical locations (ie. the tower front).

Thanks. I have some mopping up to do now...

Well, if the UBI forums come up again any time soon (what's going on with forums these days???), you might want to check this thread:

http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=t...566#6461010566

It looks like someone has figured out a way to put emblems on the front of at least some of the turms, but I haven't been able to get my hands on it yet to try it out.

I plan on makeing a more advanced attempt this time.
You'll be able to paint all the way around the sides
along with the forwards position, both upper and lower.

You'll need a basic paint program that can handle tga files.
I'm sure once the basics are out there?
Many of the great graphics people will have new works to do!!

After the release of GWX 3.0
I'll do a newer version for all the Subs.
Then release them.
