I have a folder called data in my mods folder, it is not currently enabled and contains the follwing sub folders, Library, Objects, Submarine and textures. Never noticed it before.

could it be that you have lost the outer folder or have somehow moved this file out of the folder .......if you have the mod GWX VIIC41 as player sub see if the files are still in there .....or did you download Tomi_099 VIIC/41 and not move all the files into your mod folder :hmm:

I have come across a few mods where the hierachy immediately begins with a 'data' folder (a little sloppy IMHO)....your best bet is to investigate deeper into the file structure to see where the final folder fits/sits.

Dito to jimbuna.
Frustrating and a bit scary when you see data where you don't expect. I have activated a JSGM mod that has the file name data which indicated that was the way it went into the mod folder to be activated,

When ypo uncover what it is, give it a name you'll remember so you'll know when it's uninstalled etc.
