Here's my small effort.
Not the car ![]() The core is plywood, with oak surround. A very thin layer of plaster makes a good asphalt-looking surface. Weathering on the surface with black India ink and chalk. The curb is sectional pine in pieces cut to curve and sanded to shape, with plaster on top. The Armco barrier is also pine sectioned and glued to curve and sanded. That came out pretty well, as I was having a hard time figuring out what to use to make the barrier. Thought it would be impossible making it out of wood, but it wasn't too bad. The "bolts" are old HO-scale rail nails. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I still have some finishing touches to do, also haven't decided which way around the car will go (will be screwed in place through the bottom).
