Can anybody recommend a good surface action type naval SIM - maybe circa WWI or II? Maybe something along the lines of the old "Great Naval Battles" type SIM?

Battlestations: Midway
You can command fleets, uboots, planes in this one, a bit arcade style but it's a nice game. |

Yea Battlestations Midway is a good one, simular to the Battlefield series but with ships instead of ground troops.

The Jutland sim (detailed in messages below) looks very promising - I'm certainly a fan of battleship / cruiser /surface action type encounters (WWI seems interesting in this regard) so this one might be worth waiting for.
The downside? No radar / planes / minimal sub presence allows it to be a real "pure" surface action/gunnery sim more in tune with Nelson than Halsey. Maybe thats a good thing. |
