I'm playing SHIII with GWX 2.1
I'm trying to edit my time compression results by playing with the main .cfg file data. Anything with an * is a field that I've changed: [TIME COMPRESSION] TimeStop=0 RealTime=1 *LandProximity=128 (Changed to a reasonable speed for Kiel canal) CriticalDamage=1 CrewEfficiency=1 AirEnemyDetected=1 *SoundEffects=128 (Trying to get my crew to verbally tell me what's happening a higher tc settings) *CharacterAnim=128 (Wanted to see what would happen) *EnemyDetected=1 (I want it to drop back to 1x tc if an enemy is detected) *RadioReport=1 (Same as enemy detected) *Particles=32 (I wanted to see what would happen) PrayState=8 HunterState=32 *3DRender=64 ( I wanted to see what would happen Maximum=1024 I've got some questions for the smarter people on this forum. 1) I've made and saved these changes to the config file, but the game continues to only drop back to 8x tc when the hydro operator detects a contact. I want it to drop back to 1x tc. How can I do that? 2) Will changing the RadioReport field only change the "Message Received" tc drop, or will it also affect radio contact reports... or does it only affect radio contact reports and I need to change the "message received" tc drop elsewhere. I'm sick of dropping back to 1x tc whenever I get a message, but I want it to drop back to 1x when I get a radio contact. 3) Particles... what particles are these? Water clarity? Explosions? Can anyone advise? 4) What does changing the fields for Charecter anim, sound effects and 3drendering actually do? I don't see what these have to do with time compression. 5) Despite making and saving these changes to the .cfg file, I can't see any changes to the game itself, even after restarting ![]() Any advice or instruction would be appreciated.
