The I wish thread

Okey, so I was traveling by train today, with my laptop. It was a 10 hour trip, and my laptop batteries died after two hours. Then I thought, I wish there where nuclear powered laptops.

Your turn, what do you wish for?

Silent Hunter 5 with a new Destroyer Command built in to it.

Be kinda fun to hunt the subs online or even offline.

Useing the technology of the time and also to be able to set the depth of the depthcharges.

I wish my father in law didn't have bone cancer. That would make a lot of people happy.

This should be enough power to last your train ride - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/5016984.stm

I heard about that technology a while back ago. I would buy it right away if it hit the market.

It's time for me to make a wish:

"Dangerous Waters 2 - Ticonderoga"

PS. But I'd gladly trade it for a cure for bookworms father.

A multi million pound lottery win....but a definite trade for the cure as well.

My only hope is that someone will be elected that can bring my country together. There will always be differences between Republicans and Democrats, that is the nature of adversarial political parties, but both sides are on the same side... the American side.

In the past 15 years a hatred as been growing on both sides like a insidious form of cancer. This goes far beyond any political partisanship. It is reaching the point of irrationality. Both Democrats and Republicans are equally guilty. We have become a nation of political parties instead of a nation of Americans.

I fear this cancer will destroy the country we all love.

It is time to mend the rift between the parties and work together.

Working together there are no problems we can't solve.

Separate there is nothing we can solve.

It is time to repair.

This is this tired old man's hope.

A great hope! Problem is, it may be irrepairable. The crazyness of both sides forces each to their corners. I only choose a side because it is a side that does the least damage to the core Constitution or least damage to the Bill of Rights. That is my only criteria in voting. Each day these two docs get slowly chewed away, and some day, there will be nothing left..... Yet we all sit idly by. Pathetic.
