Finally! Interior lighting is something I wanted to improve for years now. (I always thought the vanilla sub interior is too well lit for a WW2 submarine)

Anyways I hope someone is doing such a thing to the other types too. I tried it myself on the Type VII but somehow, although altering intensity and ambient lighting works fine, the lights themselves just end up greenish. :p

So I have to rely on someone more skillful than me *lol*

Many thanks for your job ...

Do you have minitweaker templates for type XXI with Open Hatch V2 ?

If you have them, can you share them ?

I am user of WAC, i am condemned to make my own tweaks... :p

I have the templates for V1, but into Open Hatch V1, type XXI is a Hatch Closed sub.

Into OH V2 the CR file includes the RR lights, and the RR file is empty... then the templates for OH V1 doesnt works on type XXI OH V2 files...

I have all my light tweaked except for the Radio Room into Type XXI.

Thanks in advance...

Hi there Redwine,

I have not had a look at the files for the type XXI and so havent had a go at tweaking them.

My original mod for the type II was made using DivingDucks mini tweaker files as well as going into the .dat files and altering the fog values and one or two others. I will have to dig my notes out to remember exactly which ones I altered.

Its been a long while since ive been around and been able to post here and my computer hard disc is in a terible mess at the moment. Ive been away on work commitments you see.

However I believe you can get the tweaker files you are looking for from DivingDucks website here

or from his filefront page, the direct link is here.

I do hope this is of help to you.

Best regards and good hunting!

Alright, I worked myself in a bit, fooling around with colors by having a look at the bulb in my room.

I found out that SH3 sometimes has a different understanding of colors than my desktop has, if I select yellow, its bright green ingame, if I select bright orange, its fine.
