OT but I have an original 1949 8N Ford tractor manual that is set up in a very similar format. As a matter of fact, it looks just like that. Of course, the sub is probably just a tiny bit more complicated.

The real good news, I still have the tractor and still use it. My Grandfather bought it in 1958, almost turned it over so he went back to using his mules.:rotfl:
