Life of Japanese ships in the game.
In RSRDC or RFB, do the IJN ships stick around for the whole campaign, or do they disappear on the real date that they were sunk? For example, the Hiryu was sunk on 5 June 1942. Is it still in the game after that date?

They are, but only to act as stand-ins for ships that aren't currently modeled.

Also, most models in the game are supposed to stand in for whole ship classes rather than individual ships. Though both Hiryu and Soryu were sunk on the same day
![]() There aren't enough carrier models in the game unfortunately, so yes, the Hiryu model has to stand in for other types. |
