Default SH4 looks so good....

that it makes my PC turn off if I stay underwater too long. I think it overheats my video card to the point where the computer just powers itself off. Anyone else have this happen?

I have, and it ain't fun; especially when you're getting into firing position, or finally slipping away from that DD that's been dogging you for an hour.

:hmm: yeah it kinda sucks. Never had a game do that before. Its not a CTD or anything. The system completely powers down. Then again SH4 is the nicest game my computer even ran.

Sounds like a heat issue.

Or open the PC case. The temperatures will drop by almost 10 degrees C.

Also, it wouldn't hurt if you vacuum clean it (specially the fans). You could get another 5 degrees C from this.

Default I'll second that

Run the ol' Dustbuster with the snake attachment around your fans. They get very dusty and clogged which decreases their effectiveness.
What I do sometimes, particularly in the summer, is take off a side panel and place a small floor fan to direct air to the machine to provide better circulation particularly if I've got the central AC on.
