I have started my career and have completed the second mission, Supply rebel base on E Coast Luzon. My base was Manilla but while I was on the mission it was captured by the Japanese. I proceded to Midway and was able to refit. Problem is that I can not complete the supply mission and start new one. What have I done wrong?

Don't you get orders to immediatly rebase to Java when Manila is captured?

Thanks for that. I suspect that in my elation at having completed the mission, I missed the bit about Java. I will repeat the mission and make sure I hotfoot it to Java when completed!

Your new "home" base (where you can end your mission) should be indicated on the map by an anchor leaning on it's side while the resupply bases have vertical anchor icons. Hope this helps.

When Manila falls,Your new base should be Surabaya on Java.

I think I know what happened. If you returned to Manila say the date is 15 Dec or so and refit you don't get the radio message to change base. This also happened to me. So if you refitted any time before 20 Dec, 1941 you will not get the message. Probably a bug or the radio operator had to high tail it outta Manila due to Japanese advancement, I don't know. Just look for the anchor icon at Java.
