Yo!
New to game, so far no real problems, but... 1) The Q key: Does it light up a status light (the only notice I see is in the HUD where it will later scroll away, and then how do I know which doors have been left open by mistake)? 2) The Z key: If in say running away flank, then Z quickly resets telegraph to 1/3 ('yes sir rig for silent running, yes sir'). The next hit of Z key does not restore faster/noisier flank ('yes sir, yes sir'). I thought Z was a supposed to be a toggle, guess not?

Hi Ensign Crow and welcome to the community.
1- There are no indicators that Im aware of that let you know whether your tube doors are open. Hit Q once to open and hit it again to close. There is a message in the message window that says whether the door is opening or closing. You can always go to external view to see as well. 2- The Z key does toggle silent running on and off but it does not reset you to a prior speed setting when toggling off. You need to do that yourself. Welcome aboard and happy hunting skipper. ![]()
