Default GWX 2.1 Periscope problem

After installing GWX2.1, I went out on a patrol and my attack periscope is extremly blurry in either magnification.

Any clue to what the problem might be?
Only runnung GWX and torpedo damage mod.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Are you using Sh3Commander with malfunctions on? Looks like such a malfunction to me.

Agreed, don't be so quick to point the finger at GWX, I suggest you turn and point your finger at the crew who serviced your U-boat whilst in docks.

I use malfunctions and prior to disembarking on my patrol, myself and the XO check everything, once we are happy that everything is stowed and working then we depart

our modders are done a major disservice by people simply failing to read the user material, ReadMe files and manuals. usually lots of information there that answers such questions.

If you are using SH3 Commander, blurry scope optics are just one of many things that can go wrong with your sub (as mentioned above)

you can disable malfunctions in SH3 commander or return to port and get it fixed by ending the mission and trying again.

Routine checks of all mechanical structures, valves, etc. should be done close to home base when using malfunction option..

Today I got my periscope malfunctioning) Seems to be that view by periscope might be ok till u submerge and then try to use it..

However if u really need to use the periscope there is a little bypass that can help u deal with stuborn DD on the tail. Just set TC = 0 (pause) and u can see the clear picture now, aim and fire
