Sorry but i have to ask

I don't have a previous version of SH3 Commander installed, i have already started a career and i want to install the SH3 Commander v3.0.(GWX user of course)
Is it safe? Should i finish my current career first?
Secondly, I read somewhere something about "rollback". It has to do with the SH3 Commander if that is correct. Any clues?

Again, sorry for this kind of question. I know such questions can be boring for someone to reply but.... please....

P.S. Any guidelines posted somewhere for SH3 Commander?
