trying to patch sh3

hi i bought a dvd copy of sh3 and have tried to patch to 1.4 but it keeps rejecting it what can i do the gameshadow i have says it is an unsupported game cheers

if you just recently puirchased SH3, chances are it comes already patched to 1.4b.

It will likely give you a "version number" somewhere on the loading screen, usually the lower left or right corner of the intro screen.

When did you buy this DVD copy of the game?
If it was recent it should already come patched to 1.4.
To check load up the game and look in the bottom right corner of the menu and see if it has v1.4 write there or any where on the menu screen for that matter.

There are 2 patches one US version and one European, make sure you got the right one.
Had the same problem and then I found out that I downloaded the wrong version patch.

If the above advise does not work try downloading directly from Ubi to SH3.
