Been away--questions on 1.4 and TM

Iv'e been away from sh4 for 4 months. Am currently playing 1.3 and TM 1.6 (I think). Is patch 1.4 a must, and if so, what TM (if any) should be used with it. Thanks.

Even if you have no desire to play the U Boat campaign, I would spend $10 and download the U Boat Missions 'Add On' which contains all patches up to 1.5. Then load TMO plus TM SP 1A and SP 2.

To clarify--after I've downloaded 1.4 or 1.5 then I apply TMO, then TMO sp1, then TMO sp2. Is that correct?
