Default BDU was right

3rd patrol out of Willy, 12/39. Patrol grid BF17. After 2 days out, weather became bad....0 visibility, 15knot winds. Proceeded thru the channel by the sub base. Lookouts spotted a Granville, up close approx 500 meters. Dive, and try and get into a good position. Line her up, but can't hardly see her. Fire 2 torpedoes anyways, hope they hit. Pay dirt.........off in the distance we see her going down.

Continue to proceed to BF17. Search of the grid reveals nothing. We start to make our way out of the grid when sonar hears something. Plot a course based on the sound contact. Wether still worse I've ever seen. Can't see anything. Lo and behold, we end up in the middle of a convoy, thanks BDU . Have to line up shots using the hydrphones. Head towards the loudest sound. 3 large freighters in a line. We unload on 2 of them, dive and wait it out. Still can't see anything. Decide to follow the convoy and see what happens. Well, both went down, was an awesome sight since we had to wing it due to visibility.

Enough of this, lets head back to base, we have only 6 torpedoes left. I decide to go to the bathroom, put her on 128tc............come back, we're dead. Hit a PT boat or something. 4 hours of work gone.....

Note to self.........save game occasionally....

And never leave the game run on 128tc, you might as well just jump from the dam and hope you don't hit any rocks.

Ocean is huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge, and contains lots of surprises.

Srsly, last time I left my game speeded up, I collided with an armed merchant. Almost died.
