Default how to modify the speed of us-torpedoes

whice or where the file include the parameter?i modify the Torpedoes_US.sim file but no effect.
now i can make my submarine use mk27 torpedoes,but the speed of mk27 is so slow,i want make it faster.

why do you want it faster, it was designed for 12kts and to conduct a search for 30 minutes. It was an effective torpedo for a homing torpedo. In real life if you made it faster, and they tried, you would over power the acustic seaker with its own propulsion unit. Remember this thing was a passive homer torpedo, and i think they did a half way decent job of modelling it here.

Is this a modification for the Cold War campaign mod? Some of the other guys have been trying to create or modify existing torpedoes to make more advanced cold war versions.
