Wasserbomb?

Did the sonar guy ever call out wasserbombs or something like that during
depthcharge attack? Also was there splashes as the dc fell in the water?

Wait.... was that SH2? :hmm:

I've just reinstalled fresh SH3

Yes, he did, but it was with a very plain, boring voice, much like all the other stock voice files. I did a conversion of the SH2 Das Boot Sound Mod for SH3, and included the choice to use either the movie voice or just very loud splashes, as even the movie voice gets old after he repeats it five times in a row.

for me anyways.
Or have I watched movie too many time.
Can you point me in the right direction for that conversion?

Wasserbomb= Water bomb. Yes in real life they called out when they were dropped. SHIII with GWX 2.0<----extremely recomended! It calls out wasser bomb or whispers it if you are in silent running. GWX adds whispers. God I love that mod!

Okay. I was putting off playing with it and reworking it, but you talked me into it.

I'm a big fan of Das Boot mods, but I think I have an older one, I have a Soundmod_Das_Boot self-extractor (in German).

I get the 'Wasserbomben' though and crew cheers etc...

I listened a bit to your new version Steve, and there are a lot of simularities. Does your new one include the "Verdammt... Verdammt!" when one of my eels misses?

I'd hate to lose that one... :rotfl:

You made me go listen again; and yes, it does. I also noticed for the first time ever that right after the "VerDAMMT!" someone quitely says "sch**se torpedoes!"

Just make sure your not in silent running mode when you do

I also just realized 'my' 9.28 MB soundmod is rather small considering Steve's download... good news indeed :hmm:

I can recommend adding the Das Boot soundtrack into the gramophone as well, nothing like blazing along with 'Convoy' on

No, those are way different from the ones I have. And the 'Torpedo Impact' isn't the same either.
