That's a very good gfx-card, I have the same, but I would recomend this one instead with Directx 10 agp: Sapphire Radeon HD 3850 512MB GDDR3, AGP8X it's the best you can get for you AGP port... Kriller2 |

Kriller, while you are indeed correct on the card you mentioned he'll possibly need to upgrade his PSU and the initial cost of both card and PSU might be abit higher than Bosna387 is willing to pay.
if Bosna is low on funds i'd suggest the sapphire radeon 2600 HD or equivalent its cheap but it does the job ![]()

You can still get Nvidia 7800 and 7900 cards in AGP. Both good cards. I dropped in a EVGA 7800 GS and a new PSU. The game runs great. See if you can get a few websites of both cards and do a comparison.

The 2600 is actually a few FPS SLOWER than the x1950 pro. I know because I had the x1950 pro, went to a 2600, then moved it over to another PC Because I got a heck of a buy on a 3870. the 1950 and 2600 both had 512MB of ram.
The 3800 series cards draw no more power than the 1950, so if he has power for a 1950, he has it for the 3850

I have the PCI-X version of the 1950 and it screams. It has enough power to be limited by your CPU and memory.
