making a part invisible,, chage the value to 0???

I have seen this term several times,

Which value please?? IN s3d I changed the id to 0 and it just crashed the game,

could some kind soul tell me what they mean by the value and where it on s3d??

I have s3d Alpha version,, six updates since then,, I'm Off to get the right one
