SH2-DC Mods Repository

I have created an account in Filefront, called SH2DCmods here:

http://hosted.filefront.com/SH2DCMods

All who are serious and willing to share his files, send me a PM and I will give you the password, so all repository mods can be uploaded at the same place. Neal or anyone else can then download them from there to host elsewhere.

I have started by adding a single player mission I created long ago, with dynamic escorts.

Anyone who is willing to have one or more mods he is missing, ask for them in this topic so that someone can see it and upload them. Files requested by multiple users should get priority, and please do NOT ask for subsim's bonus mods (1024 res kit and Pacific aces). Also, asking for only a few files each time will be better, since copying & pasting long lists of files here will add more confusion than help.

Thanks for this Hitman, hopefully some will be added soon.

I'd love to get back into DC on a regular basis, since it doesn't appear that DC2 is aqround the bend or anything.

All right, thanks Hitman uploaded Fletcher's realism mods version 1.0 for Destroyer Command and Silent Hunter 2 version 1.6 You need them both patched up to the last patch (1.01 for SH2 and 1.1 for DC IIRC) as well as the PM patch 1.03 for both. Highly recommended both of them. Check the readmes of course for correct patching order with the other mods that were around at the time.

I already sent Neal a disc with every SH2 and DC mod I have, but I'll be glad to upload them there as well if you like. The more places they can be found the safer they'll be from being lost forever.

I' v learnt there are some extra mods for PA
which add more scores for PA, but I could not find them. Could anyone give me

some clues to get them ?

Here are the mod names :

1) sound pack ver. 2

2) arlo waves ( they get the stowaway off the boat )

3) see thru menus

4) seedlers sun, land, sky mod

5) s-boat mod

Could you please do the same thing for DC? I grabbed the SHII items to have it archived for future use, but it is DC that I play more often right now.

After seeing what you had for SHII, I can only wonder at the goodies you have tucked away for DC.

I have some missions I wrote for SH2 long ago as well as a mission editing guide. They are on my filefront page (see my sig) in the SH2 folder. You are welcome to download them and place them wherever you like.

I've had some more requests for the DC mods I have in my collection, and now I feel a little guilty about not posting them earlier.

You'll see what all it includes, but I did want to mention the several types of playable escorts, battleships, cruisers and on mission that lets you play a commerce raider. None of them created by me, of course; I just have them handy.

What I don't seem to have, but thought I did, is the cool 'Old Bridge' mod. I think it was from Horsa, and it put you on an outside bridge.

Hello Sailor Steve,

Thanks for the downloads for DC and SHII and also to other modders, i am having a great time with both these sims.
The other day i was sent deep by escorts on a convoy and heard a torpedo strike home from another u boat,.
I have been using kriegstanz for Destroyer Command to recreate convoys with wolfpack attacks and sunderland aircraft patrolling,to see a sunderland fly over the convoy when the convoy gets nearer the UK is really exciting and have JU88 aircraft hunting them, and now i am looking forward to do WW1 naval warfare when Iron Seas is ready
