Yeah, that's what appealed to me. Too bad it's a "sexy roadster test platform" and not a production model...

I've actually drafted plans based on one of these:

I commute about 20 miles round trip to and from my work place. My version uses 10 deep cycle Marine batteries and a 48VDC motor controlled through solid state devices. I hope to build my version within the next couple of years...
