Default I still want a fully destabilized deckgun...

No changes has been made to the scene.dat file in the last 2 patches, so I cant go any further with my DG mod.

Elanaiba, you promised some help! where are you?

Part of the problem has to do with the camera link they placed between the unzoomed and zoomed view, and the fact that the speed settings in the gun file affect both the rotation and stabilization.

Notice how the range when you go to zoomed from unzoomed changes depending on the elevation of the barrel when switching to the zoomed view?

Turns out that link still exists even when zoomed. Because of this the zoomed view drifts because the barrel tries to track the horizon to a certain extent.

THen there's the camrea link to the barrrel - that's another isse.

Methinks they don't realize the feature they put in there to aid users (elevation when switching to the zoomed view) actually is a problem.

There needs to be 2 seperate speed entries- one for tracking and one for the user rotating and elevating the gun.

Then we'd be able to lock the stablization to zero andf I think we could get what we've been looking for.

So probably not going to happen.
