Default ATTENTION! ATI Sun Glare Problem almost fixed!!!

Check out this thread: http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums?a=t...636#8991043636

Minoos over on the UBI forums has stumbled onto a fix for the ATI sun glare problem. It seems to be due to Z buffer errors or imcompatabilities between the game engine and the Radeon drivers. These guys over there need your help with hacking the Radeon drivers to make the "Force Z Test Enabled" setting to stick.

So, calling all modders who have any knowledge of ATI drivers, DirectX API, etc. Your favorite subsim needs you!

I guess they should have made SH4 an open boat where we run around inside and shoot each other a 1000 times. They seem to handle those games with numerous patches. --Longam UBI SHIV Forums

A sad day has dawned...

Yeah I am willing to believe either at this point. So, I know in your vast knowledge somewhere you have some insight as to why the SH4 engine doesnt handle the Z buffer in this case?

Hopefully you do...
