Default GWX 2.0 new history - WWII ended in Feb 1940!

I was very surprised war has ended just after patrol no 4 in Feb'40 and no more game for me Please also what I marked and observed all the time I played GWX 2.0 :
in base before mission 20 Feb
some saves with 10-11 Feb
today I started game as from save (d)
somehow everytime when I'm starting SH3 registry is changing previous "in base before mission"

Is there anybody who can tell me what to do ?
If not I'll try to play GWX 1.03 - please give me the link to previous GWX ???

Go to
C:\Documents and Settings\****\My Documents\SH3\data\cfg\Careers\Mariusz1939
Open the latest careers cfg

Look for the line

Renown=500.000000
Finished=false
WarOver=false < yours should say true

Just change to false and save

Thank you,

Do you have any idea why previous line (in the base) is always overwritten ?

I have

Change both to false

Tis one of SH3s save quirks
Happens in stock and any other mod you care to name
Its one of those things we learn to live with and is easily fixed

I fear that the problem will continue to repeat *unless* the OP goes back to his last "in base before mission" save point.

Anyway, fyi for SH3Cmdr users, if you run SH3Cmdr then you don't need to edit any files. All you need to do is select the career in question in SH3Cmdr, which will appear as retired, click on the status, click yes, and you'll be back at work again.
