Hi Guys
Can anybody help me find my guncrew! I have patch 1.4 and the latest version of Trigger Maru + support files installed ( and some minor mods ). This is my 3rd patrol and I transferred from Pearl to Australia, got a new type of tower for my Porpoise class sub. When I was handing out promotions and medals I noticed the whole guncrew went missing. Did they join the marines to get some action or where have they gone? ![]() trident

did only the crew go away
or the ABILITY TO PUT CREW MEMBERS IN THE GUN go away if it is the second then it has been discussed before and i think they where able to fix it by going back to an old save. |

Happened to me last night for the first time w/ patch 1.4 and TM 1.7.6.
After firing a spread of 4 torpedoes at a large freighter, with two missing and two duds, I went to battle stations and surfaced. Selecting my target w/ binoculars I designated it as a target for my deck gun, then gave them "fire at will", and waited... and waited... I looked over the top of the bridge and there was no one manning the gun. When I went to the crew management screen, not only had the deck gun crew vanished but so had the empty boxes I could assign people too. Quit the game and had to go back to an old save to get my gunners back ![]() |

Uh...no, NOT excellent at all. Unless there will be another patch for the game. Sorry if I sound a bit harsh, I don't plan on getting the expansion any time soon, but I do expect a major bug such as this to be ironed out.

...that bug will be fixed in the add-on along with;
- the "auto popup" chrono in TC (never did see an explanation of why it does that) - the dive plane graphics glitch - the destroyer collision sound for the rubber dinghy - radar sweep switching off every time you go to the radar screens - engine at "all stop" every time you return to a saved game - having to "return to course" every time you return to a saved game otherwise the sub fails to follow your previous "saved" plotted course. Small but quite annoying bugs in my view, particularly after all the patches. ![]() |

I finished my second patrol returned to Pearl Harbor and got a new tower for the sub. Then when I opened the sub refitting menu to check what I could upgrade and so on there was no gun crew slots at all. No matter if I moved the gun or removed it.
I guess I have to stick to unreliable torpedoes for a while.... Thanks for the info anyway!! Cheers guys trident
