40s music sucks for me personally- kinda makes me feel like the Crypt Keeper. How's about some Death Metal instead?:rotfl:

Death metal may be cool (!) but its hardly period.

(Currently blasting "The crown - Eternal death")

Yeah, I know but it's the only music that could wake up my XO.

Default Firewind--Forged by Fire

Some great Greek metal. Proof that we were right in helping kick the Germans out of their country. That makes it period music......technically.........sort of........

now playing:
Kill to Live and Feast of the Savages
oh, I forgot Perished in Flames you know, nice peaceful music.

Guess I'm a traitor to the cause. I actually like some 40's music.

Default MP3 rules the roost

That's all you need to know.

And an honorable mention for authentic WWII music: Uriah Heep, Abominog, especially "Too Scared to Run!" (time to have old Rockin Robbins committed. Who knows WHAT he'll listen to next. It could be the end of civilization as we know it.)

I found a Greatest Hits Cd of Blue Oyster Cult music at home last week. They got a song called 'Me-262'- cool! Wish I was listening to anything from Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse or Death. But the airport is a nice friendly place.

The gramophone and radio will play mp3, wav, or ogg formats. Wavs are the largest file format, so if you're pressed for hard drive space use one of the others.

GREAT! Thanks fred8615. Got some Hit Parade CD's from the 40s need to copy over. Probably use low quality so I can get more for the space and also get that authenic scratchy sound Not hurting right now though. Have Direct TV with the XM music stations so I pipe the 40s channel through the boat. When they play the Dec 7th speach by FDR it gets the boys all fired up

In the past, I never really paid any attention to 40's music but after getting this game, I really started to like it. I have especially fell for the old time radio programs and look forward to them during patrol. (Big thanks to Fred8615, Captain Cox, Ted Healy)
