still can't get snorkel working (tryind to get to: submerged-snorkel depth w/diesel engine power and battery recharging)
SH3 with GWX 2.0 VII B ask CE to go to snorkel depth and rise snorkel ok so far- Javolta but crew remains in electric eng compartment- so I manually move them to diesel engines compartment but still diesels not running- still staying at 0 knots engineer won't allow me to select "run in recharge mode" -not highlighted help??? |

and when I select it the crew respons with a verbal "rising snorkel"
but watching the boat under camera view I see NO snorkel sticking up out of the water do I really have a snorkel??? |

That sounds very weird. If you have the icon available to order raising the snorkel, and you get a verbal confirmation, you should both have one and see it rise.
Do you have a list of all the mods you have enabled? And what boat are you driving, what year is it and where is your home port? That might help narrow down the posssible problems. |

I have been experimenting around with Racerboy's F&P mod for my own purposes and can tell you that he modified the 'turm' files to create the flags. The mod is not made to be GWX 2.0 compatible. It does appear to work, as far as adding on flags, but there are some odd things, such as the bridge seeming "roomier" than before and light highlighting the outside of the conning tower as if it were lit from underneath. Trouble is that it is not compatible at all with U-Boat 1.2 and creates missing textures and nodes in the parts of the U-boat that include the decks to the conning tower. I'm assuming this is because of differences in the turms so the skins JCWolf uses do not "paint" onto Racerboy's turm properly. You need to remember the F&P mod was done for stock SH3 1.4b. You'll have to live without Racerboy's Flag mod until someone makes it GWX and/or U-Boat 1.2 compatible, if they ever do. Every modder is off doing their own thing so it's a hit-or-miss chance for the SH3 players if a mod will work with other mods.
