Default What can i adjust?

Enjoying this game very much so far, but I need to squeeze a bit more eye candy out of her.. I get some graphical glitches if I run maxed out, though my rig is moderately beefy and should be able to handle it... so I wonder what the best check boxes to turn of are? as in which ones hog the most graphical resorces? As I said earlier My rig is decent enough.. AMD64 4000+, 2gigs, radeon 1950xt.

But here's the rub, My widescreen monitor's native resolution is 1680x1050 and If i run in any resolution other then that I get major grapic bugs, so It takes some horsepower to run in that resoultion. Any ideas on what I can turn on and off to get a balance of smooth play and pretty visuals?

Also 2 quick questions.. I can't find the command to report depth under keel, and can you blow up enemy life boats, and if you do are there any ill effects?

Thanks guys!

Depth-to-keel is under the Control Room icon (the wheel).

If you attack survivors in lifeboats, your crew will mutiny.

Well. Not really. But be nice. The sharks will probably get them anyways.

Start with cutting off the enviromental effects. That seems to have the biggest impact.

I am running a 1650 pro - and using 7.14 - mainly because later versions lock my card with COH. SH4 using row runs great! If you want eye candy -make sure you have ROW.

I am. Running the new 8.1. TBH never had a problem ith the graphics no matter the driver. 55-60 fps outside all effects on, 1280 x 1024.

Just to check?

You are using patch v1.4? The stock game had a few gaphical oddities to say the least.

With (only) the volumetric fog turned off, your card should handle 1680*1050 with no problems.
