How does crew experience work?
How do crew members gain experience points? Is it simply the amount of time spent out on patrol? Or does seeing action help?
If it's the former, I would assume that the longer the patrol, the more experience they gain. Which leads me to believe that it's a good thing to refit at least once and request another mission. |

So I was right!
![]() I guess I'm mostly wondering if there are any additional boosts for experience, above and beyond spending time on patrol. |

Yes, time on patrol and action taken on the patrol grows your crew experience. Unfortunetly your starting crew are all rocket scientists with rank. Fortunate for us, the next RFB release has changed that
