Okay, I just got burned by the save submerged bug.
Are there any tricks to save surfaced without having to break contact or to make sure your submerged save is good? So far, I've only seen this problem saving when at 200M and not at PD. Thanks.

Bit of a 50/50 those submerged saves. Underwater saves I have no work around and get bitten now and then as well.
European Air War "Tally Ho" Great flight sim especially when the mods kicked in. ![]()

Maybe you can save two or three times before exiting and then try to load them from the latest to the oldest???:hmm:

yea - that's what i do - save two or three times with separate names. Like, I'll save after each confirmed kill, then i'll save in a fresh one, then i'll save-and-exit (overwrite my exit save). If i load and the exit save fails, then the one before it usually is fine. Once in a blue moon I have two failures, and the third one prior is fine. I think once I had to go back before my last kill (three failed saves in a row) which was a piss-off, but it can mostly be avoided with super-redundancy.

If you ever come across the 'Player' save.......DELETE THAT ONE.
Should you ever have the misfortune to lose your saves, go to the Saves file in MyDocs and preface or add on at the end the letter 'x'. Your game should then appear at next load. You can delete the 'x' later. ![]() |
