Default Help with screenshots

Ok, it's a simple question but, how do I take and print a 'screenshot' ?
I know I have to press 'ctrl+F11' but how do I print/recall it?
Do I have to paste it to MS Word??? or is there a key combination I press to recall it?
The reason being I am lined up to attack HMS HOOD Task Force (8th Sept 39 - heading out of Scappa) and I would like to take a few screenshots of the event.

Thanks but I am probably having a bit of a 'senior moment!!'

Regards...

When you take one they go to your Main SH3 Folder as .bmps, you should see them in there. A program as simple as Paint will open them. If you post here convert them to .jpegs, there is a thread in the stickies that can help you with this.

By the way, welcome to SUBSIM

No problem, post back if there are any more problems with the screens.
Good luck with it

Welcome aboard Roaringdisaster

Download Irfanview, it's free and it does so much more than Paint. After you have accessed the bmps, you have a multitude of options open to yourself ranging from adjusting colours and effects to simply saving as a jpeg (recommended format for posting those screenies on the forums).

This is what I use to save/modify screenshots. Very easy to change the file format (i.e from .bmp to .jpg), and re-size an image.
