Hi there,
I wonder If I am doing anything wrong installing skind. I use the mod enabler and it does change the files in data/Textures/... however, my sub keeps the same plain skin. yes, it should be the right boat (an IXB), but i loaded a running campaign (being in port). when i run out, sub is in standard textures. any idea what i need to do? |

Some skinners have sub folders in there zip file. You may need to look deeper into the file to find the right folder you should be enabling in JSGME.

the correct file path once you open the RAR/Zip file to enable the skin via JSGME should be:
(name of the Skin)\data\textures\TNormal\tex, where all the TGA files of the skin should be placed. However, if the extracted folder has a different structure, it can be easily modified so it can be enabled via JSGME. ![]() CapZap

Problem solved. Stupid mistake *bankgsheadonkeyboard* Nontheless, I share it in case others run into it as well: I had Low Res textures actvivated. Hi-Res skins won't load then, naturally. After resetting to Hi Res all worked fine.
