i have a question. Why is Gibraltar controlled by the allies during WW2 as Gibraltar belongs to Spain and Spain was neutral during the war ( although sometimes supporting the axis forces) can someone explain that? thanks for your efforts.

Taken from Wikipedia: "Gibraltar is a British overseas territory located near the southernmost tip of the Iberian Peninsula."

Even today it still remains British, even though the Spanish aren't very happy about it.
