We do not go to that website after the dirty trick they pulled with the release of GWX 2.0. We could care less what goes on there.

Yeah I wish I knew also. They had a lot of useful things on that site. I believe the site got hijacked last year or so for a few months.
I am just glad my kid wasnt near me when I went to that site. I would have been pissed!!!!
Thankfully there are still a lot of good people out there though who are willing to help the newbies.

Hi!

The site is http://u-boot.realsimulation.com/ (UBRS). The site has been hacked, so I would stay clear of it in the event the site is now programmed to drop nasty stuff on the PC of anyone who visits it.

Hi!

If you are looking for GWX V2.0, you can find it at the GWX website. There are some new gramophone tunes included as part of GWX, but not nearly as many as were available at UBRS.

Ok, this is what happened. The GWX team arraigned with Uncle Neal to release GWX 2.0 exclusively through SubSim, for a donation to help defray the cost of running the site, for a one week period, before releasing it for general download. UBRS got a hold of a copy and put it up for download on the very first day of that period instead of being courteous and waiting for the general release date. Needless to say the GWX team was not very happy about that, nor were a lot of the members here. If you want gramophone songs, look in this thread just down the page here for Gramaphone Tunes. Jimbuna has posted links to 4 packs of them in that thread with one more on the way.

It is worth noting that the donation went only to the running of the Subsim site and not to any of the members of the Grey Wolves team.

I'm staying well clear of UBRS since that sad little episode.
