Misty movie

Has anyone seen "The Mist"? It get's totally polarized and controversial reviews over here. I tend not to see it, but got a bit curious nevertheless, due to some details of the plot.

Sounds alot like a copy of John Carpenter's 'Fog'.

Yes, I thought that, too. but using Carpenter's ingredients is one thing: creating the same unique amosphere as in that movie is a very different. The Fog in no way is a great quality movie, but it has something that let's you love it nevertheless: atmosphere, and that is what I love it for.

This new movie, The Mist, has a religious lunatic to offer, apparently a person that in the end becomes as murderous as the monsters outside - that'S where my curiosity is coming from.
