Default Most spectacular explosion ever seen!

Sorry I didn't take a screenshot of it but I had sent 6 torps at medium range at medium speed set at contact on a Kongo Battleship. The torps sent the ship listing to port and still running. Then it capsized and WHAMMO! A huge (the biggest) I've ever seen since playing SH4. The size of the firey explosions was maybe twice the length of the ship. A semi-circular ring of fire settled on the water with a whole bunch of lifeboats getting stir-fried. Loved every second watching it! This is a result of all those wunderbar environmental Mods. God bless you, LeoVampire!

TM has some really nice explosions, too. If you listen closely, you can hear Japanese crewmen screaming during the initial explosions.

Probably the only thing I dislike about TM. The screams are loud enough to match the explosion most of the time!

The screams were brought to you by Dave/Leovampire. I remember testing the file he created. I heard the screams for the first time and was not ready for them...i did a

I gotta say, the first time I heard the screams, I remembered Pearl Harbor and then giggled.

I always thought it was tearing metal sounds I was hearing when the torps hit. I forgot to mention the amount of fallout from the blast. Watching through the periscope I followed the arc of a lifeboat. That semi-circular ring of explosions was something to behold.

I've often seen similar comments about lost/forgotten screencaptures of momentous events.....moments seemingly lost forever.

Maybe some folks don't realize that after such an event, you can at any time as the mission continues, "Save" the Game and when doing so, select "Save Replay". Then at your leisure, load that Replay, run the entire mission "recording" at FastForward (or just jump forward instantly) from beginning to the point of your attack/event, and watch it again taking all the screencaptures you want. Your camera choices are restricted while watching the running replay, but if you jump back into the Game "active" just immediately prior to your "event", say seconds before the torps hit, you should be able to select any external camera view you want to make your historical record screenshots of that 'live' event.

Maybe everyone already realizes that, but I don't think it will hurt to post a reminder...
