need side emblem help please

trying to get laughing swordfish ( the tag file is in my sub emblem folder)

only choice in menu is "1st flotilla"
already in patrol #20

how can get the laughing swordfish to get listed as a choice

addition- once you have the side emblem is there a way to make it larger?? thanks in advance for any help

How much renown do you have when trying to add the emblem? IIRC you need at least 1500 to get a personal emblem if not playing GWX.

Getting the Laughing Swordfish emblem for your u-boat is fairly easy, regardless of the flotilla to which you're currently assigned.

Do you have the .tga file in your '....\data\Emblems\SubEmblems' folder?

If you already have the emblem then it should already appear as a choice in the list in-game when you're at the u-boat screen for choosing upgrades. You can choose any emblem you like from the list, regardless of your flotilla or u-boat number.

If you don't have the swordfish emblem then here's one for you....

The file is named 'Laughing Swordfish.TGA'. Simply download it from the link above and copy it into your SubEmblems folder, usually located in:
"C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\SilentHunterIII\data\Emblems\SubEmbl ems"

I don't remember where I got this from as I have it in a folder with many sub emblems I've downloaded. My apologies to whomever the original author may be.

You can also make your own emblems or use any photo or graphics you like. Just make sure you save them as .tga format, 256x256 size, 24bpp color depth.
