Greetings, all.
Recently paid for the Steam version of 688(I) to re-live some happy memories. That I found the old spiral-bound manual, in excellent condition, was a plus -but upon launch... 640x480 is it? Are there (or were there ever) any modifications/official patches to change resolutions to a more reasonable quality? Thanks, in advance. |

![]() Aye, I tried '-windowed' in the command line and all the rest of it, to no avail. But nonetheless, it did satisfy my need to revisit 688 even in glorious 640/480. Fun stuff. Being more interested in soviet/russian 'platforms' anyway, (though more familiar with ground and air warfare from Archangelskii to ZiS -obsessional is perhaps the better word, really) - Sub Command is more my thing. And with a full suite of extras (ambient sounds, cyrillic labelled panels etc. grabbed from DW mod authors -it's a hoot. Downloading DW now, for the Kilo -here's hoping Sonalysts will give us a playable Ka-27 and Il-38 some day. ![]() |
