I can't seem to start a GWX 2.0 campaign?

Hello, I can't get a campaign started after installing GWX 2.0

I started new campaigns and GWX works fine for me. I did all the training. When I try to start a career when I load (I make NO mods to the boat the first mission) the red loading bar stops a half inch from finished and locks up the game. I tried different bases and it does not matter. Any ideas?

Welcome.

GWX has a lot of details to load. Seriously, wait longer.

If the game has locked up, it will crash to the desktop and give you an error message. If it doesn't it's still loading.

Someone said it took him about 20 min. to load up.
For me, about 2-3min. Tot: 5-6min from windows.
Guess it depends on what cpu and amount of memory you have.

I think i was the guy who posted about the 20min load times, since then i upgraded my ram and now have 4gig, load times now around 3 mins.

Before upgrading ram i too thought it had locked up, with the load bar about an inch from 100%, but it would load eventually.

Great! Thanks for the info. I have 2 gigs of ram and a 3.19 CPU. I don't mind waiting on the load time I just thought I had done something wrong on the installation. GWX is really great. I'm really not very good at this game but I love it. I bought SH4 collectors as well.

Late warning about the planes in the flak training getting BOMBS! I went to do some flak training like normal and to make a long storm short I did my impression of the guy in Das Boot sticking his head down the hatch yelling ALARM!!!

I had NO idea I was about to get bombed. haha
