Sound problem with SH3 Commander

I have been playing SH3 GWX with the german speech for the immersion factor, but have 10 mins ago installed SH3 Commander. When I loaded my first career from SH3Cmndr my crew were struck dumb, therer was no speech, no bells ringing on the telegraph, nothing, just ambiant sounds such as the crowds on the quayside. I don't know if this problem has been reported before, but if anyone can help I would be grateful.

Just as a quick update, I tried playing SH3+GWX as usual, without SC3Cmndr, and my crew still have no speech in either english or german. Stuffed if I know whats going on, maybe Bernard's been at my computer.

The sound problem isn't with SH3 commander as I have uninstalled that after rolling it back. Still no speech in SH3 GWX. Checked and made sure the speech files are still there. May have to reinstall SH3 and lose my naval academy results. I wont do anything until tomorrow, to see if anyone can help.

Ps.

Sorry if these 3 posts seem a bit rambling, I just want to give people as much info as I can.

I remember a sound problem after a JSGME mod install, some speach not there.
Setting any t/c changes in Commander back to defaults solved the problem.
Can't remember if I uninstalled the mod first then set t/c to default though.

Yes the SH3commander FAQ states that altering some TC levels can cause your crew to lose voices
Rest them as they were

Had this when I started out with SH3cmdr a long time ago: It was also timecompression related. I have then moved sound thingie in timecompression back to default and never touched it again. Never had te reinstall anything, so hope this helps you.

And it's amazing how much time and frustration one can save through reading this too.
