Idiot sci-fi question: Why do X-Wing fighters have…um…wings?
I was reading something, and found this question in an article. Maybe we can answer this question here!
 I can't give a good idea as to why, nor could I when I was 10 years old either. Maybe someone can enlighten me?-S
