Hello everyone:
Here is what I am running: Intel Pentium 4 - 3.00 Ghz 512 MB RAM Intel 82865G Graphics Controller I bought SH3 back in 2005 and although it wasn't perfect, it ran on my computer. I even bought extra RAM for it. Now I try to reinstall it after awhile and it suddenly won't work. The detection tool tries to tell me that I only have 510MB of RAM (?) and that I do not have Pixel Shader 1.1 Capability. If I try to run it anyways it gives the message 'Cannot initialize 3D engine'. I attempted to use 3D Analyze to get over the PS 1.1 deal but it doesn't work. Any ideas? Thank you! -C |

Go to the game folder, right click on SHIII.exe.
There's a tab (I think it says something like "compatibility") that'll give you an option saying "run under 1024X860" or something like that:P Check that box, run the game... then exit the game, uncheck that box, and PRESTO!!! It did it for me! Hope it works for you! |
