I recently had the experience of inadvertently enabling Windows 'Sticky Keys' mode because I had hit the Shift key repeatedly within the game in order to speed up the External camera view.
The result of doing this was that the game minimized and 'Sticky Keys' was now enabled within Windows. It took me a minute to work out what had happened, but if this happens to you (in XP) you can temporarily disable the Sticky Keys mode by pressing both Shift Keys at the same time. In order to permanently disable the Sticky Keys option ( I don't think anybody ever uses it ) go to: Control Panel....Accesibility Options....Sticky Keys....Settings....Use Shortcut. Uncheck the 'Use Shortcut' and click Apply and then OK. Hitting shift 5 times in a row will then no longer activate the 'Stick Keys' mode. ![]() |
