Default Land Lubber Questions

I suppose I should put all my questions in one post instead of all over the place.

1) It's mentioned somewhere here but how do you install the RFB Mod?
2) Why is it that when I save during an intercept my postion changes relative to the convoy? I was about 45 degrees behind the comvoy, I saved and when I reloaded I was 45 degrees ahead of the convoy.
3) I play on Normal settings since I haven't gotten the hang of manual targeting. Is there a tutorial easy enough for me little old brain to understand?
4) When reloading torps it stops suddenly when the 'all battle stations' is activated and still gets stuck after its deactivated?
5) What's the best way to attack a fast moving Task Force when you're at a disadvantaged position?

Hope the questions aren't difficult but I'm sure you seasoned sailors can help out a mate.

1. See this thread: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...28&postcount=1

2. I've not yet run into this. I know there were some problems with saving around a ship or convoy in SH3, so I've gotten away from the habit of doing so.

3. This may be a bit advanced, as it assumes you have a working knowlege of true and relative bearings, AOB, etc. but it's a great guide to the TDC and the position keeper: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=118923

4. Have not run into this.

5. Easy. You don't. That's part of the game with submarines...many times during the war, skippers were frustrated to see a juicy target zig away from them as they were setting up an attack.

Thanks. I'll look into the links.

One other thing- Historically during 1941 were the other subs types available other than the SS-81?

You had the Salmon class boats, the Tambor/Gar classes, P-class boats, Narwhal class boats (not in SH4), Dolphin/Cachalot class (also not in SH4)
