Default Aircraft Markings Fix?

While into GWX2.0, I've noticed that the roundels on the wings and fuselages of the aircraft are one-quarter fields...not full. I'm sure the Dev's have noticed this. Is there a fix that will be available for this? I tried the "delete markings" from the SH3Comm date folders to no avail, so I restored them.

Other than this small glitch, 2.0 seems to be running just fine and the added features are really appreciated!

Isnt this a problem with the SH3CMDR? Not 100% sure, but I think I read something about it.

Don't think so. I loaded the cfg file for SHComm with GWX2.0. Where might I find the optional markings link?

I fixed the problem. I copied all the markings.tga folders from the root directory of SH3 and replaced the markings folders in SH3Cmdr. Working fine now.

If you have "Markings" folders in SH3Cmdr, then you have installed the markings add-on pack at some point. This pack is NOT compatible with GWX 2.

To remove the existing pack, simply delete all "Markings" folders from SH3Cmdr (after rolling back first of course) and that will solve the problem; you'll then get the stock GWX 2 markings as expected.

There will be a markings add-on pack released specifically for GWX 2 - I have received many requests asking for one and as I completed one when I made the GWX 2 markings back in June, I may as well release it for others to enjoy. I'm just getting confirmation that it works with GWX 2 (I'm sure it will, but as I don't have GWX 2, I'm getting someone in the GWX team to confirm for me - it's only tga files). In the meantime I've pulled the current version of the pack to minimise confusion.

PS: What worries me are the number of people using existing installations of SH3Cmdr with GWX 2.0 - if you have installed add-on packs, like the aircraft markings or ship skins, or made any tweaks specific to GWX 1.03 or other installations, then you will most likely experience problems. So because it's very easy to forget what you've installed or what changes you've made to your SH3Cmdr install, I would STRONGLY recommend that you completely uninstall SH3Cmdr (your histories will not be lost) and create an install of SH3Cmdr dedicated solely to GWX 2.

Just think of SH3Cmdr add-ons and tweaks in the same way that you think of mods - you wouldn't go installing an existing mod over GWX 2 if you didn't think it would work, the same goes with SH3Cmdr add-ons and tweaks.
