Default Battle of Midway, campaign

I'm positive this has already been answered already, but I cant find it here....I can't for the life of me get mixed up in the Battle of Midway. I get the radio messages, I'm in the right area at the right time (179 E, 31 N on June 4 @ 7am), and I cant find anything in the area. Twice after the time passed I zipped around Midway and found a few ships straggling around, but I'm not having much luck. Any suggestions?

Default History has nothing to do with this...lol

I also love the messages tp converge at Leyte Gulf or some other battle and .....nothing. Saw the same thing on SHIII when I was trying to prevent some of the brits from getting at the Bismark - no one there but us and the fishes.

Actually the battle for Leyte Gulf I have encountered all the 3 Jap TF's the biggest one being the one that sails from east china sea past Manilla and approches from the NW as soon as you report contact you get the message something like"attack at all costs"and before you know it the entire area is swamped with US fighters and dive bombers will post a pic of the battle if I can find it.

I've never spotted the Japanese Strike Force or Invasion Force headed to Midway but I did find the American TF with the Enterprise and Hornet. After spotting them I put it into TC and managed to slam straight into one of the CV's. They changed course and I didn't realize. Oops.

I actually ran into the Pearl Harbor strike force, when it was heading back to Japan. I lucked out and sank a Shokaku and a Hiryu class aircraft carriers.

Then on another patrol, different submarine, I was trying to find the Midway strike force, but came across the planes returning from Midway. Unfortunately, they bomb and strafed the heck out of me, and I was sunk.

Waited outside Iwo Jima in febuary 1945. Nothing. I knew that there was no real naval battle there, but I was hoping that a U.S Task Force would show up at least....
