Default What has happen to the king of card games

Quote:
Bridge players told to smarten up
Bridge, a game not usually associated with aggressive players, is to get a new behaviour policy to clamp down on rowdiness and unsuitable attire.

I play on my PC and let the game keep score. On a local level my dad gave up playing in a local group some years ago as they were bad tempered and always calling foul. What next? Bust up over a game of Chess.

Does anyone here know how to play 'S**t-Head'? (card game)

Had I the skills, I'd have made a computer program of the game.

When I was a student, we'd often play S-H to decide who was going to make the tea's, or go to the corner-shop. It was great fun

hehe, ok:
the number of players depends on the number of decks used.
-all players have 3 cards face down, 3 cards face up, and 3 in the hand.
-the object is to get rid of all of your cards and in front of you.
-you start by choosing the best cards in your hand and face up in front of you at the beginning of the game.
- the remainder of the deck is placed on the table and the top card is turned over for all to see; the first person to play has to beat or match that card with any card(s) they have in their hand. They then have to pick up a card from the deck to make up 3 in the hand until the deck is wiped out (more on that later). If they cannot beat or match then they have to pick up the pile of upturned cards and continue to play in turn - the next person gets a 'free go' to ditch any low value cards like 3's.

card values (special)
- ace = high/low
- 2's can be placed on any card and restart the 'count'
- 4 of a kind ie. four 5's, can be placed on a lower value card to wipe out the pile and remove from play. Also you could place three 5's on a single 5 to do the same.
- 10's can be placed on anything and wipe out the deck - where you get to play again
- high cards and specials are of the most value
- in all cases if you wipe out the deck you get to play again with a card of your choice, or if the person before you had to pick up.

the cards on the table are played last and must remain on the table until you play each card in turn - three face up (so everyone can see what you've got and 'bump' you) and thee face down (random luck; many a game has been won or lost with these cards).

that's roughly the rules, though I have played the same game in different places un the UK where the basic rules are the same but there are some slightly differing ways of playing.

Thanks for the explanation but I'm afraid I'm still at a loss

When I was young(I'm 42 now) we played a game called skitgubbe Directly translated sh*tfellow

Everyone had 3 stack the first open and you should always have three cards on your hand ess was highest and the 10 turn the stack. The number 2 start it all over and if you had 4 of the same number(e.g the number 9) it would also turn the stack.

Do not remember what the name of the card in english is
