war aces campaign mod

anyone use this mod I was thinkin about changing from nygm to try war aces I am into the realizm end of this sim not so much for eye candy IS it worth a go?

I use War Ace, on a MulitiSH3 install so I actually have 5 SH3 installs rolling and can play all-any mod I want. Not trying to drive myself nuts but one is a back-up and others I like to see what the differences are and test jazz.

If your into realism NYGM is a good mod. You might read about GWX it is imo geared for realism.* War Ace is geared for, well fun, eye-candy and historical emersion. Loaded with events and convoys. It's a great mod though, the full version is rough on slightly older systems - video cards as the harbour traffic is almost to much. Light version is the same but with less harbour traffic & 8k atmosphere.

* In GWX the IIA has 6 fish.
